Two-stroke rickshaws: Owners, drivers protest ban

SIALKOT: The owners and drivers of two-stroke rickshaws on Tuesday visited the Muslim League House during a demonstration against the government for banning their vehicles on several city roads. They also blocked the Paris Road and demanded an end to a crackdown launched against two-stroke rickshaws. They were carrying placards reading slogans against the government. Talking to the media, they said thousands of people would be rendered jobless if the two-stroke rickshaws were banned in the city. The demonstrators dispersed after PML-N leaders spoke to them.
