Pursuing peace: Security plan for Muharram

Religious scholars have been briefed about the security measures: Karachi Commissioner

KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies have prepared a joint security plan to ensure peace during the month of Muharram, said Karachi Commissioner Syed Hashim Zaidi on Monday. While updating the consul general of Iran, Abbas Ali Abdul Hai, on the security arrangements, Zaidi said that religious scholars have been briefed about the security measures and have been requested to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to ensure peace.
