KARACHI: More cooperation between British and Pakistani  institutions required to raise education in Pakistan to global standards, said the British High Commissioner, Adam Thomson, while visiting the Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL) on Monday.

The school is affiliated with the Cambridge Judge Business School. KSBL’s dean, Dr Shaukat Brah, briefed Thomson about the school’s curriculum and faculty.

“KSBL’s focus of becoming a regional school of management education while developing effective leaders is the need of the hour,” said

Thomson. “Such leaders can make substantial contributions to the business and social sectors in Pakistan.” The head of British Department for International Development in Pakistan, George Turkington, and other officials of the high commission were also present at the occasion.
