Targeted: ANP local leader’s house attacked

TIMERGARA: Former provincial minister and Awami National Party’s (ANP) district president, Haji Bhadur Khan’s house was partially damaged when a rocket fired from an unknown location landed on his house on Monday. Fazle Haq, a Munda police official, told The Express Tribune that around 1:30am, unidentified assailants fired a rocket at Khan’s house and cracked its boundary wall. Khan while filing a report with the police, stated that after the rocket was fired, he went to survey the damaged part with his family members. “The assailants escaped after firing the rocket,” Khan told the police. An active leader known for his anti-militant stance, Khan has been threatened by militants several times.
