Lovelorn: Cop commits suicide?

Police doubt the family’s account.

GUJRANWALA: A police constable was reported to have committed suicide in Tatla Aali on Sunday after his family disagreed with his proposal to marry a girl of his choice. Police said Bopra Klan’s Arsalan, 24, was a constable at the Girjakai police station. They said the family claimed that he was shot accidently while cleaning a gun. Police doubted the family’s account. The postmortem report is awaited.
