Higher education: Korean envoy for joint ventures

The city is known for research in biotechnology, aerospace and nanotechnology.

ISLAMABAD: At a seminar on higher education, Korean envoy Choongjoo Choi promised to facilitate joint ventures between engineering universities in his country and Comsats Institute of Information Technology (CIIT).

The ambassador was the chief guest at a seminar on “International Perspective on Higher Education in Korea”.

Principal scientist at Atomic Energy Commission, Aamir Ihsan said, “Daejon is a major city known for its research and technology, which is considered the backbone of Korean economy and development.”

The city is known for research in biotechnology, aerospace and nanotechnology.
