KARACHI:

Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) has started a four-day level-I coaching course affiliated with the Asian Squash Federation (ASF) to upgrade their technical staff.

The course will be conducted by Fahim Gul at the Mushaf Squash Complex in Islamabad. Fahim has been coaching in Middle East countries for several years and he is also the ASF’s Deputy Director of Training. “The upgrade of coaches in Pakistan is one of the major points of my long-term plans as it will enhance the quality of players on grass root level,” national team coach Jamshed Gul told The Express Tribune. “Such courses should be held at least once or twice a year because it has become a necessity to have good back up staff who can teach younger players.”
