We want to bring self-exiled Baloch leaders to talks: Chaudhry Nisar

Chaudhry Nisar says that the government had not done anything to help the Baloch people.

ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that the opposition wants to build an atmosphere of confidence to bring self-exiled leaders of Balochistan to talks.

Speaking to the media outside the Parliament house on Monday, Chaudhry Nisar said that the government had not done anything to help the Baloch people, and now the opposition, along with all other parties, wants to form a platform to talk to self-exiled Baloch leaders, who are reluctant to talk to the government.

The parties, whether they are sitting in the Parliament or not, will be brought together for the purpose, he added.

Govt truant on passing resolutions

Chaudhry Nisar maintained that the opposition has managed to pass several resolutions unanimously but the government has not been able to do so.

“We passed a unanimous resolution on oil price fixation formula... but the government has not been able to move one step ahead on any resolution even after the passage of several months,” the leader of the Opposition said.
