KARACHI:

The Shia community leaders have given the government a 72-hour ultimatum to arrest the killers of Allama Aftab Ahmed Jaffery, the deputy secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, who was gunned down along with his friend on Tuesday.

Announcing a three-day mourning over the murders at a press conference held at Imambargah Ali Raza, Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi warned that if the attackers are not arrested within 72 hours, a “never-ending” countrywide protest will be launched.
