Harrowing Journey: Kidnapped girl produced in court
The Naudero police late on Friday rescued a 19-year-old girl, A*, who had been kidnapped two months ago.
They produced her before the 3rd additional sessions court on Saturday. ‘A’ and her sister were reportedly kidnapped from Jaro Khan Rajpar village. While recording her statement, ‘A’ said that her kidnapper repeatedly raped her and then brought her to Sohrab Machi in Ratodero, where she was sold for Rs50,000 to another man. She reportedly escaped from her captor and went to the Naudero police station for protection. She added that she does not know the whereabouts of her sister. SHO Sartaj Jagirani said that an FIR has been registered.
