Hand grenade attack: Two killed, six injured in blast

According to initial investigations, the suspects had a personal dispute with the sub-inspector.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two people were killed and six others were injured when three armed motorcyclists hurled a hand grenade in front of police sub-inspector Ghazanfar Ali’s house in Basthi Ustharana, Sunday evening. Twenty-four-year-old Zeeshan Haider was killed on the spot while Yasir Hussain succumbed to his injuries in District Headquarters Hospital, where all those injured were taken. Police arrested four assailants, Waqas, Sajjad, Arif and Ijaz, during a raid later on Sunday night. One of the injured Nazakat Ali is the son of sub-inspector Kausar Ali, who lives near the area the blast occurred. According to initial investigations, the suspects had a personal dispute with the sub-inspector.
