Clarification: Shalamar Hospital denies wrongdoing

"The hospital was never involved in the sale of hospital waste", says the management.

The management of Shalamar Hospital says that the hospital was never involved in the sale of hospital waste, as an opinion column, published in The Express Tribune on October 23, 2012 regarding sale of hospital waste, alleged. The hospital’s PRO says that on February 9, two employees of Hospital Waste Management Department were found selling some waste at Raiwind Road, Lahore. An inquiry followed, after which the services of the staff were terminated.
