Altaf Hussain thanks people for donating 'record number' of animal hides
Addressing a gathering of party workers and at the main camp set up for hides collection under the KKF, Hussain thanked the people for donating hides to KKF in large numbers.
“The overwhelming manner in which the people have reposed their confidence in the KKF has broken all past records,” said the MQM leader.
He said that the MQM would get more votes than the past in the elections and the results “would shock the political players.”
Members of the Coordination Committee and elected representatives were also present on the occasion.
Hussain said that the MQM was leading other political parties in “serving the people with honesty, integrity, hard work, courage and determination.” He said that no other political party could compete with the workers of the MQM in these traits.

Many organizations collect Hides all around the Country but how many contribute to the needy people, the poors. Many organizations collect these just for their ownself or for their madarsas or such. But MQM is among the very few organization who put all possible efforts to provide the relief to the people who deserve. If we have a close look at the works done by Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) we can easily see that this is the only organization which works round the close 365 days and serve the humanity without discrimination of cast, creed, sect or relegion. It works for humanity and is doing commendable job.
We are honoured to have such an organization in the Country specially in the Peace Loving Quaid's City.

This time MQM made another records for collecting hides. I appreciate it and would like to mention the efforts of KKF what they are doing for people. Native now KKF's progress that's why each an every year they are supporting MQM. Furthermore, KKF always helps citizens of Pakistan in critical situations. I would love to thanks those who gave their animals hides to them and especially to our Quaid, our Leader Mr. Altaf Hussain bhai. love you Bhai :)
KKF has been providing financial support on monthly basis to all those students and widows who have no means of financial support.People of Pakistan and specially from Karachi support this charity wing of MQM and donate generously their sacrificial Hides of animals.
Every year, people support MQM's charitable wing [KKF] and donate hides of their sacrificial animals to MQM. Other hand KKF proved itself in every critical time and it comes forward to serve humanity.
people are supporting the MQM thats why they gave hides to KKF. nation now understanding who is serving the humanity only KKF. KKF have the biggest network all over Pakistan and doing the best for Needy people with out any language, culture, religion, province thats why KKF made the Record.
The Holy Prophet PBUH said, “the greatest prayer of all is to serve humanity”. From this hadith we come to realise that aiding poverty stricken and needy people is in itself a prayer. As it is, well to do should assist the needy in their individual capacity. However, political and religious parties and social organisations ought to perform their due share in this service to humanity. Any political movement, which renders service to humanity, is no less than a prayer itself. Unfortunately, in our country, political and religious organisations have divested themselves of this responsibility, assuming it to be the prerogative of social organisations. Political and religious organisations have constantly claimed that when they come to power they will take necessary steps to eradicate the ills of poverty, destitution, hunger and illiteracy. They believe that service to humanity cannot be accomplished without controlling the reigns of power. The MQM (Muttahida Quami Movement), however, in Pakistan is the only organisation, which has proved that even without being in power it has nevertheless managed to achieve and set considerable examples of service to humanity. This is only possible when one is honest and sincere and works with a commitment to the cause. MQM’s example of such commitment is a torchbearer for others to follow.

Those who are jealous of public support to MQM they should not forget the one and only party which MQM was busy in relief of 2005 Kashmir earthquake for two years and none of the party serve the victim of earthquake like MQM and they deserve more public support for their charity work.

@Khurram Awan: Remember IK came in politics after his humanitarian work and no, he has not used SKMH as front-end for collecting donations (and going by the context of this article, not certainly by force). Donations for political work are collected separately from that of philanthropic work. The most one can object to is his reference to struggle of making SKMH during political speeches.
Good work MQM and KKF. Most people throwing allegations above are either simply prejudiced against the MQM or are ignorant of the massive relief work that the KKF (MQM's relief wing) performs daily by way of a very well-established infrastructure, put together by a lot of hard work and support. These folks should try to visit KKF's facilities and see for themselves, instead of creating a stereotyped image. Think rationally. There are no significant reports of hide snatching by any political party; so obviously the allegations above have no grounds and are being thrown out of pure jealousy.
No Political party should be allowed to run Humanitarian Organizations as unfortunately it is used for Political reasons and that creates biased approach in the end. PTI is using Imran Khan foundation and Shaukat Khanum for Political gains and JI is using their humanitarian Org for political gains and Khidmat e Khalaq is exploited by MQM for their own goals. If people of Karachi are sincere then set up one Organization irrespective of Political Affiliation and people from all walks of life should donate to that organization that could develop a generalized Universal system to help the people rather than so much Fragmented and disoriented and Politically motivated systems springing up around Pakistan.
..... People know the facts. Eventually justice will prevail in form of War Crime Tribunal..
