Technological change: Warid launches Nano SIM

Customers can walk into a service centre and get their standard SIMs replaced with new Nano SIMs for a cost of Rs200.

LAHORE: Warid Telecom, a reputed cellular service provider, has launched Nano SIM, with an aim to provide customers with state-of-the-art technology and services. “Warid now enables them (the customers) to use iPhone5 on its countrywide network,” the company says in a press release. Warid says the Nano SIM, which is the newest generation of SIM cards for the upcoming devices, has been designed for use with the latest iPhone handsets and all other Nano SIM compatible devices. Customers can walk into a service centre and get their standard SIMs replaced with new Nano SIMs for a cost of Rs200, it says.
