KARACHI: The provincial government released a code of conduct on Monday for the collection of animal hides on Eidul Azha. The code bans the use of loudspeakers. It says that all organisations must acquire permission from either the commissioner or the deputy commissioner to collect hides. The police will seize the NICs of people who violate the code of conduct. The adviser to the home department, Sharfuddin Memon, told The Express Tribune that door to door collection of hides is also banned and parties should not force citizens to donate hides.
