Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) officials have been deployed at the cattle market in Sector I-11 to maintain smooth traffic flow and remove any inconveniences for commuters.
A total of 61 policemen have been deputed around the market. The police team will be supervised by Industrial Area Traffic Circle DSP Liaqat Langah. Two inspectors, 33 upper subordinates, 13 women constables and 12 lower subordinates are in the team. They will perform their duties in three shifts and Traffic SSP Dr Moeen Masood and Traffic SP Khalid Rasheed will supervise them. The cops will mainly perform duties at Metro Chowk West, Metro Chowk East, I-11 T Cross, Godown Chowk, Nescom Hospital Chowk, Chand Kanta T Cross, I-10 Service Road, and I-11 East West Central T Cross.
