@Aijaz Haider:
LOL great thinking, bro - there's a job in the ISSI policy thinktank just waiting for you!
Hasan
I saw the video of the previous record holder. At the rate of 3 "kicks" per second, the person is essentially jerking his foot not kicking! Besides, the Guinness book is bit of a nuisance now-a-days. Recently, they declared an Iranian to have the biggest arms (i.e.; biceps and triceps combined) and the bodybuilding community pointed out that the guy was simply injecting synthol into his muscles!
@Blah: I dont appreciate something which has no literal or constructive meaning!
@Aaa: He is not a Pathan. He is Bodla and Bodla tribe mostly lives near Sahiwal in Punjab and some of them in KPK as well but they are not Pukhtoons.
@Hasan: Excellent!
What is this obsession with breaking Indian records? Can't we do achieve something without mentioning them?
Awesome record - I don't care where in Pakistan he is from, he has put Pakistan on the map for a good reason and made his country and his family proud.
For those Pakistanis who have the nerve to call this a waste of time, I'd be very keen to know what any of you have done for the country, other than sitting at your computers and posting negative comments.
Hasan
@PK if you can't appreciate, DAAAANT JAAAALOUS :) (and yes i had to type it like this)
"LAHORE: Ahmed Bodla set a new world record on Sunday for kicking 617 times in three minutes, Express News reported.", i.e. 3.428 kicks/second or one kick in 0.3 second. He should be sent to Afghanistan to drive out 60,000 US and NATO troops in just 60,000*0.3=18,000 secs = 300 mins = 5 hours! The decade-long war will finish off in just 5 hours! Regards.
A new world record will be set in next election. "Most popular leader could not win a single seat in election"
We are making so many "easy" and "stupid" Guiness World Records, lately. Could anyone among the 180 Million Pakistanis try to win a bronze medal in the next Olympic games? Unfortunately, it has been about a generation since any Pakistani won any medal in the Olympics.
Proud to be a Bodla..
wow, keep the records flowing.......
Congrats, Ahmed Keep it up
@Googly:
Bilor's ?
Is there anything constructive in this country left to do then doing away with some stupid records which have no credence. Time waste this event in LHR. Compete on educational and professional front my fellow countrymen, these things wont let you be anywhere on global map!
congratulation to all pakistanis
Bravo!! Keep it up!
UFC champion in the making
Another useless record.
@Aaa he is not pathan! your words can hurt!
Congratulations !!! On a lighter note, a pertinent question would have been "who's face was in your mind while you were punching that poor bag" :)
congratulation. since yesterday, good news are coming up. bravo!
Only a pathan can kick a bag 3 in a second
Congratulations to the great nation. Where is link to youtube for this event.
