It was love at first sight for us when we saw Dia Mirza in her debut film Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein. The Bengali beauty mesmerised us with her angelic smile, vibrant face and hour-glass figure.
The 30-year-old model-cum-actor, also nicknamed Dee, started her own production house, Born Free Entertainment, along with her boyfriend Sahil Sangha and good friend Zayed Khan. Instead of focusing on just her career, she has also taken several initiatives to be socially responsible, which makes her a true icon all in all.
Despite all her achievements, this diva stays modest. “I have never considered myself a style icon. If people like it, that’s very flattering,” Dia told dnaindia.com.
She also says style is a reflection of one’s inner self, a representation of individuality. “When I dress up, my intention is not to look like a diva or an icon. I wear things that make me feel good or beautiful.”
Dia also mentions her love for accessories and her large collection of bags, shoes, and jewellery. “I pull out my accessories first and then decide what outfit to wear,” She says with excitement. “Accessorize is one of my favourite stores!”
“I love earthy colours as well as pastel shades,” Dia tells Times of India, “We all reach out to colours based on mood. I love rust, teal, yellow, white and black!”
