KARACHI: The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) and Sindh Health Department have decided to form joint inspection teams to fight against Naegleria, a bacteria that enters through the nose and damages the brain.
Low levels or chlorine in the city’s tap water is being cited as the reason for the spread of the disease.
