During a weekly briefing, FO spokesperson Moazzam Ali Khan condemned the attack on the 14-year-old child rights activist and said that it could not be justified in any manner.
When asked whether Pakistan would discuss the possible military operation in North Waziristan with US Special Envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan Marc Grossman during his visit, the spokesperson did not rule out the notion. “All issues including the situation in Afghanistan will be discussed with him during his forthcoming visit to Pakistan.”
The spokesman said that the visit is part of ongoing engagements between Pakistan and the US and all the issues of mutual interest and mutual concern, including peace and security will be discussed with Grossman.

If North Waziristan is so safe, why don't you go and live there? And how can the attack be planted when your beloved TTP accepted the responsibility?
@Desi: We all don’t think.
Our government have taken away our thinking abilities...."
I can guss it from your post.
We all don't think.
Our government have taken away our thinking abilities. Can any one tell me that Is'nt it not possible for our government (begger of US) to plant attack on Malala with intentions of doing operation in North Waziristan? These beggers want US people to come in Pakistan just for dollars...
We just believe what Mr. Abdul Rehman Malik (interior minister) tells us.....
Please think for God sake.....
@cosmo: "Unbelievable to see such atrocious comments from people. Killing is never the answer, give them an example, do not bow down to killing tactics, its never a solution!" you are puting square peg in the round hole. What are you talking about!
Those who want to avoid army operation in NW are in fact turning blind eye on the ground realities . The nation will have to pay heavy cost in term of loss of life and property . Better initiate an open war against the terrorists and their supporters at the earliest or be prepared for a civil war .
@sabi: I cant believe people are getting into this media scam. N Waziristan has nothing to do with it. Absolutely nothing. There are Afghan Talibans there and the attack was carried out by TTP. And dont tell me they are all the same if you dont know anything about the HUGE difference between them.
Writ of Govt. is being challenged everyday To establish writ of Govt. N W operation is must If Srilankan army can kill much more trained and notorious LTTE then why not Pak army which is much more sophisticated in weapons and training can washout terrorists what is required is just political will .....
Unbelievable to see such atrocious comments from people. Killing is never the answer, give them an example, do not bow down to killing tactics, its never a solution
@janaan: Killing more is never an answer, that's just asking for further up rise of such acts
@humayun: Please, answer of violence is not violence, We want a much more civilized answer to this.
@Sting: Sorry, but your figures have a sympathetic sting to it. Most of the citizens are afraid to speak in front of a mullah or another citizen. For, the simple reason that a backlash, can be frightening. Hypocritically, the people do not challenge a mullah.
The support for the Taliban is declining because it does not get them jobs or put food in the stomach. Most of the Pakistanis prefer to remain silent spectators with the rural population mostly under the control of the one-eyed mullah. Once, that is beheaded, then the pattern will Inshallah see a sea change with education being the torchbearer.
Salams and have a nice day.
Pakistan has become the good, the bad and the ugly under rehman malik ministery. can he explain why pakistan has become the heaven for terrorist. we have the best of the best tajik, afghani, somali, yemeni, saudi, kuwaiti, chechen and we even had indoneshian bali bomber under his term. do we have open door policy or do we give them visa on arrival. who is letting them in?
It's about time to send in the army to teach these cowards a lesson. They can take money from India and hide in Afghanistan but the Pakistani army should teach these girld attacking cowards a lesson now!
How about Taliban genocide!!!! Concentration camps??? :P
Whatever happens it's clear that the civilian govt won't get a vote in the matter.
This is needed... badly for Pakistan.. Army..just do it.. annihilate..or they will just bounce back..
A waste of time and resources. Over 80% of the civilians support Taliban.
