Actor and item song girl Rakhi Sawant — the ‘Veena Malik’ of India — is always in the news for her attention-seeking antics. She showed up at the music launch of It’s Rocking - Dard-e-Disco in Mumbai wearing all the rejected pieces she found in her closet. We don’t know what she was thinking, but Minnie Mouse is definitely looking for her pink hat.
Hair
Since Rakhi had a bad hair day, it’s understandable that she put a hat on…but why this? Not only is she wearing a ridiculous hat with a bow, but her thinning braid has been done all wrong, clearly showing a bad hair dye job. Poor Rakhi also couldn’t find anything better to tie her braid with.
Jewellery
With this glitter disaster, thank God she spared us by not wearing any jewellery. Her nails match her loud crochet purse and her screaming pink hat, but what is that on her feet? Rakhi’s foot laces with stones are the most hideous heels ever spotted — especially since she wore them with black panty-hose.
Makeup
This item bomb had nothing working for her that night. A close-up photo shows long facial hair, unblended concealer, over the lips outline, and too much contouring for the nose. The peach bronzer she has on is also used as her eye shadow, and the blue eyeliner wouldn’t look that bad if it matched her look.
Outfit
Rakhi wore a shiny sequined corset with a shimmery satin crop top over it and black sequined leggings. There was nothing that complemented anything on her outfit and we can’t decide if the terrible mistake was to wear a round, hot pink hat or the golden chain of her purse with the silver look she was showing off.
Wear it like
This Asian model is defining style with her casual blazer, sequined pants, tie-dye blouse with a fringe top and half booties. The decision not to add any more glitter was a wise one, since the pants are shimmery. No accessories are needed with her outfit, and the large black purse complements her office look.
Hollywood actor Jessica Lowndes, from “90210” pulled off her sequined tights elegantly with her menswear inspired strong shoulder jacket and a casual gray top inside. Her make-up is subtle, her hair is sleek and sexy, and the snake skinned black purse is a beauty to go along with her business yet fun look.
Sara B, owner of fashion blog www.glitterandgrace.com looks stunning in her navy blue sequined pants. The top is camel coloured, also matching her shoes and contrasting her shiny pair of leggings. Sara’s wearing natural tones of eye-shadow and a light pink lipstick. With her bangs straightened, she wears her high bun with panache.
