SUKKUR: Police rescued a 7-year-old girl, Pathani, who was being married to 25-year-old Arshad Jatoi, after a raid in Bachal Shah Miani on Tuesday night. The team, led by ASP Masood Bangash, arrested three people. The girl and Jatoi appeared before the Sukkur second civil judge on Wednesday. The Airport police station SHO Mohammad Shabaan told The Express Tribune that Jatoi was remanded in police custody for three days while the court handed over Pathani to her mother after a surety of Rs100,000.
