MULTAN: A female candidate for matriculation exams claimed on Monday to have been issued a roll number slip with a boy’s photograph. Saira Jamal Labar, enrolled with Allama Iqbal Open University, is the daughter of the PPP’s Multan Women Wing secretary general. She said she had initially not been allowed to sit for her exam on Monday. Her father Jamal Abdul Nasir Labar told APP that it was only after he called up the university’s regional director Arif Saleem Arif that she was allowed to take the exam.
