Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman opined that making arrangements for speedy and inexpensive justice is the responsibility of the executive, but judges may adopt such measures which can help us to achieve the objective of a just society.

He expressed these views at the certificate awarding ceremony of a one–week training course entitled, “How to be an effective senior civil judge” at the Federal Judicial Academy (FJA) on Saturday. The participants of the course comprised 20 judges hailing from all over Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Earlier, the FJA director general presented his welcome speech and spoke about the content of the course.
