KARACHI:

At an event that was attended by socialites and friends, Fashion Compassion bags made their way to the multi-designer brand store House of Ensemble on Thursday evening. These bags will now be available and accessible to the trend setting urbanite woman of today.

After stocking in cities such as London, New York, Paris and Dubai, the brains behind the brand has finally brought it to Karachi.

“I look forward to catering to women who know the trend and want to look and feel different,” shares Ayesha Mustafa, the founder and director of Fashion Compassion clutches, expressing her feelings of delight and amazement at the launch.

“These clutches talk about women who have been empowered to support their families and are contributing to society in a positive manner,” she continued. “I hope the woman who wears it is informed about world issues and is able to support our cause.”

There were three kinds of clutches at the launch event; Nawa, Sougha and Palestyle.

Present at the launch event was guest Batool Mankani, who said, “I love this collection of bags. I basically like the Palestyle ones, which look different from the other two; I am really hoping to buy one of these soon.”

Also present was the co-director of The House of Ensemble Shehnaz Husain, who was happy to welcome the clutches for a cause. “We are delighted to have Fashion Compassion bags here. The effort through which these are made is commendable.” When asked when these bags will make it to Lahore, where they were recently carried on the ramp at the PFDC L’oreal Paris Bridal Week by an Elan model, Husain said: “Definitely. By the end of this month, we will be doing something similar [in Lahore].”

Greeting the guests as they poured in, Mustafa said she hoped she could bring her other two collections titled Gunas and Lostcity to Karachi soon. “They are completely sustainable, so Gunas will be here in Pakistan soon.”
