Football: Palestine call off Pakistan friendlies
Palestine called off the Fifa Day Friendly Football Series after a late response from the Sports Board Punjab (SBP) about the availability of the Punjab Stadium, according to the Pakistan Football Federation. The PFF said that a delayed regarding the venue meant that the Fifa friendly matches, scheduled for October 12 and October 16, could not take place. Reacting to the news, the PFF said that Pakistan ‘missed a great opportunity to host international matches on the occasion of Fifa Day only due to the non-professional approach of the SBP and Pakistan Sports Board.
