Doongi ground: Chief minister, others served notice

LAHORE: A law firm on Thursday served a notice on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, DCO Noorul Amin Mengal and LDA Director General Ahad Cheema for not restoring the Doongi Ground in Gulberg. Muhammad and Ahmad served the notice through its Chairman Azhar Siddique. The LHC had directed the government on September 16, 2011 to remove all structures from the ground and restore it, the legal notice said. The government had not challenged the LHC order.
