LAHORE: The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore announced the results of Intermediate Part-I annual examinations 2012 here on Monday. The pass percentage remained 55.84%.The board also made the results available to students by SMS. A total of 124,226 candidates appeared in the examinations out of which 67,887 passed the exams. BISE Public Relations Officer Qaiser Mahmood said this was the first time that the Intermediate Part-I results were announced on time. “By Monday evening, we had ensured that results were available to all students,” he said. The results could also be checked through gazettes available at select HBL branches and the BISE sales depot, he said. As many as 5,089 candidates were placed in Grade A+, 11,105 in Grade A, 21,431 in Grade B, 22,430 in Grade C, 7,854 in Grade D and 192 in Grade E.
