KARACHI: Pakistan coach Jamshed Gul has said that the onus is now on players to perform after the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) fulfilled its promise of helping them to play in Professional Squash Association (PSA) events. Amir Atlas Khan recently left for the US to play three major PSA tournaments while Ali Bokhari left for Jordan to participate in Royal Jordanian Squash Open. Nasir Iqbal and Sheikh Saqib Yousuf will also represent Pakistan in the Royal Lake Club Open in Malaysia. The players have long been complaining about lack of support from PSF, citing it as a major factor in their poor world ranking. “They need to put on a good show now,” Gul told The Express Tribune. “We’ve done everything we could to help them. Hopefully, the players will now prove that it’s worth spending money on them and they can win titles.”
