Pietersen set for England return
Pietersen has been asked to make a fresh apology to his teammates if he wishes to be considered for selection.
Kevin Pietersen is set to sign a new contract with the ECB with the exiled player expected to make a fresh apology, according to ESPN. Reports circulating yesterday suggested that Pietersen could be included in the England squad for next month’s tour of India. However, Pietersen has been asked to make a fresh apology to his teammates if he wishes to be considered for selection. Pietersen, whose central contract with the ECB expired at the end of September, held talks with ECB managing director Hugh Morris in Colombo last week.
