A disgrace for all of us (V)

LAHORE: The video released in the media looks fake and there’s no point making all this noise and hateful comments till anything is proved. One controversy from the notorious British media, which tends to hate Pakistani cricket teams, and we all get so engrossed in this issue, away from the actual tragedy we’re facing as a nation. Allow me to remind everyone that we have 20 million fellow countrymen displaced, homeless and hungry, 3.5 million children exposed to disease and death and a third of the country under water. Please focus on the right issues.

sio@M h0 d mental capacity from a sportsman to reach a level of skill and excellence where he can represent his nation at an international level.

The question here is that why would our cricketing heroes – having worked so hard to achieve this feat – want to risk their entire careers by indulging in match-fixing. They earn a decent amount of money playing for Pakistan, they earn respect and honour from their countrymen, they get to travel all over the world – so why do this?
