Anti-Islam film: JUI-S leader announces $200,000 bounty for filmmaker
Shahid made the offer at a Difa-i-Pakistan Council (DPC) rally on Monday in Peshawar.
“We will award $200,000 to anyone who kills the filmmaker,” he said.
This offer comes after Federal Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour earlier offer of $100,000 bounty for the filmmaker behind the disrespectful film.
Muslims across the world have held protests, both violent and peaceful, against the film demanding Google to block the video or pull it down from YouTube altogether.
At least 23 people had died during protests in Pakistan against the film.
YouTube has been blocked in Pakistan since almost three weeks because Google refused to block the video in Pakistan.

You have the right to express your thoughts but not beyond the ambit of law and constitution. Your leaders have been the champion of the rule of law if you don't agree with them it is better to leave the party and make another one as you claim all the people are supporting you. You can chose one among the existing parties. Although some are banned but no matter you have the courage to say things in press conference.

We would be holding exhibition arround the world on "Life of Muhammad (PBUH)" to educate the world about prophet of Islam as our response to this Anti-Islam film. One of such exhibition will be held in the same city where the producer lived. Thats how Muslim arround the world should respond.

Funny....if he loves prophet so much then why don't he travel himself to US and carry out the crime instead of offering the Bounty to someone's father or Son to do the sin. I am sure both Ikramullah and Bilour will have no problem in getting the US visa since both are and were part of the Govt. GROW UP PAKISTANIS!

Is Pakistan the only flag bearer of Islam?????? Why isnt any other country constantly holding protests, issuing head money or the likes? I have a question.. If they have $200k just sitting there chilling, why can't they have spent it on the welfare of poor & deserving people who are committing suicides? Does that makes sense?

But unfortunately in Pakistan, true Muslims like your good-self who understand and follow the teachings of the Prophet are in minority. Clerics and militants are the one who in the name of Islam and the Holy Prophet have twisted the religious teaching to suit their own agenda and objectives are the worst offenders of teachings of Islam. As a matter of fact, supporting and conducting the acts of violence and announcing bounties is against the teachings of Islam and as such they themselves are committing blasphemy. You have rightly advised the people of Pakistan to be wiser and smarter and not get deceived by such thugs.
We protest to show that Islam is not violent religion but by offering 100, 000$ followed by 20,0, 000$ do we really we show that we belong to a peace loving and peaceful religion?
American President has to take action against culprit. Is it allow in America to play with the emotions of the followers of others religions. Y U.S. is protecting the rights of minorities. Y champions of human rights silent over this issue, Dr. AAfia SiddiqI killing, slaughtering of Burmese, killing of Kashmiries, Maoists in India. Y they re silent over killing of Palestinians?
Let us show to the world that pakistani muslims love their rasool more than any other muslim country. We need to keep protesging till the film maker is handed over to pakistan to be lynched in public.

As these Mullah's and govt. officials announce these bounties, I suggest that they be fired from their jobs, arrested and finally whipped in public as punishment for trying get someone murdered. I do believe that will tell all Pakistani's and the world that humans live in Pakistan and not a muderous, idiotic clan of people I can't even profess to call home any longer. Also has anyone thought where these people of meagre salaries are getting their hundreds of thousands of dollars for bounties when the people of Pakistan are suffering, with not even the basics provided for? I would like to know where it is written in Koran to offer bounty for such acts. I thought the Prophet was known to forgive others for their misdeeds. Only in Pakistan such a thing happens. None of the rich Middle Eastern countries have put a bounty. This encourages more people to watch this stupid movie.

Ayotollah Khomeini of Iran issued a fatwa in 1989 against Salman Rusdie ordering Muslims to kill him for writing a blasphemic book Satanic Verses but he is still alive today after 23 years of issue of fatwa. So, do these fanatics think that announcing of bounties is going to frighten the producer one bit, who has already achieved his objective and must be having a good laugh of creating commotion in the entire Muslim world especially in Pakistan where properties are being destroyed and people getting killed.

I am wondering why these bounties are not being announced from Saudi Arab, Egypt, Iran, Turkey, Malaysia, the Gulf Emirates, etc. Are the Muslims living in those countries somehow less Muslim than us? If that is indeed the case, I would feel proud to be a Pakistani Muslim. I would be able to argue that Pakistani Muslims are the best Muslims in the world because they dare do such Islamic acts that even the Muslim Brotherhood would shy away from.
Last friday,a Paresh Rawal movie called "Oh My God" was released in Bollywood....After a weak opening,the collections are increasing due to the word of mouth...
Apparently,the movie has lot of lines attacking Hindu gods...But there is demonstrations and burnings by Hindus all over India,nor is Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar have a bounty on their head...

The extreme and violent reaction to this film will simply reinforce the anti-islamic set. If a poorly made film can provoke a population into a self destruct mode by remote control, then there will be many such provocations in the future. In that sense, certain islamic leaders and government ministers are the best friends that these anti-islamics can ever have wished for.

Either they are so naive or deliberately misleading the populace, how are they going to come over to the US and look for this criminal blasphemous in California and then kill him. He is already in the police custody because of his previous checking fraud and violation of probation. I would like to know which of these crazies will get US visa and travel to California, they know that this is all hot air and the money will never be paid, and where are they getting this money anyway. I wish to God that our nation pay more attention to the teachings of Islam than fall for the traps of some of these criminals in other countries. We are not hurting them but in the process killing our own and destroying the country. May God help us all if we have leaders like these.
