Football: Win-less KRL out of President’s Cup

KRL crashed out of the AFC President’s Cup as they lost to Palestine’s Al-Ammari Youth FC 5-1 in Dunshanbe yesterday.

KARACHI: KRL crashed out of the AFC President’s Cup as they lost to Palestine’s Al-Ammari Youth FC 5-1 in Dunshanbe yesterday.

Midfielder Saadullah managed to score a goal in the 40th minute as KRL took the lead, but Pakistan Premier Football League champions failed to contain the Palestinian club, as they stormed to the finals. KRL finished the championship at the bottom of the table in Group B, while Taiwan Power Company lost their chances to qualify for the final as Al-Ammari Youth FC led the group with four points.
