Round-up: Colour pop

The red carpet of the Emmy Awards was as bright as it gets.

News Desk September 26, 2012

While last week’s red carpet events saw the beautiful women of Hollywood showing some skin in gorgeous black gowns in cutwork and lace, the red carpet of the Emmy Awards was as bright as it gets.

Ginnifer Goodwin

Ginnifer Goodwin wore this Monique Lhuillier gown hand embroidered with a bright orange texture and nude backdrop. She kept the accessories simple but stole our hearts with those shoes!

Cat Deeley

The gorgeous host of “So You Think You Can Dance” mesmerised us in her Tadashi Shoji scarlet gown. We absolutely love this black and white clutch!

Jessica Lange

Another winner at the Emmy Awards, Jessica looked beautiful in this red sash gown by US designer J Mendel. The 63-year-old paired her bright piece with gold hoop earrings and a gold cuff bracelet.

Julliane Moore

The 51-year-old award winning actor also donned a yellow dress at the Emmy’s. The couture Dior dress, Jimmy Choo heels, and Fred Leighton jewellery have us turning green in envy.

Claire Danes

The winner for Best Actress in Drama Series showed off her baby bump in a strapless yellow Lanvin dress and paired it with Barbara Bui stilettos. The soon-to-be-mother kept her jewellery minimal and looked ravishing.

Allison Williams

Allison stunned in an elaborate Oscar de la Renta emerald-green gown. The barely there make-up, hair up look paired with the gold earrings get her two thumbs up from us.

Mellisa Rauch

Actor Melissa Rauch arrived at the Emmy Awards in an emerald green one shoulder Oliver Tolentino couture chiffon gown. She kept her hair up with loose bangs at the front to draw attention to those lovely Open Hearts earrings.
