A police spokesperson said on Saturday that the teargas guns snatched by protesters on Friday had been recovered from Egerton Road. He said the weapons had been broken.
As many as four teargas guns had been snatched from the police on Friday. The inspector general of Punjab Police had appealed citizens to return them.
