Lcci Elections: PIAF-Founders Alliance sweeps Associate Class seats

LAHORE: The PIAF-Founders Alliance made a clean sweep on Thursday as it won all eight Associate Class seats of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) for the year 2012-13, paving the way for the alliance to bring its president and vice president. On Wednesday, the alliance had won all seats of the Corporate Class.

In the elections, 2,080 votes were cast out of which the PIAF-Founders Alliance got 1,105 panel votes while its rival Azad Progressive Alliance secured 410 votes.

Annual general meeting will be held on September 29 where final results will be announced and approval of accounts will be sought. The new office-bearers will take office on October 1.
