Shershah carnage: Case put off as special public prosecutor missing

13 workers and owners of shops were killed when gunmen on motorcycles opened fire.

KARACHI: The Anti-Terrorism Court-I adjourned the hearng in the case of the 2010 Shershah scrap market carnage, to October 10, as the special public prosecutor was not available to examine a witness.

Lal Mohammad Magsi, Shafi Mohammad and Aslam Parvez have been accused of committing murder, attempted murder, abetment and extortion.

13 workers and owners of shops in the market were killed when gunmen on motorcycles opened fire on October 19, 2010.

On September 4, the ATC-I ordered protection for the witnesses testifying in the case.
