Crime: Robbery suspects sent to jail
The suspects had been caught and handed over to the police some hours after the robbery on the same day.
FAISALABAD:
Two robbery suspects were on Tuesday sent to the jail on orders of a judicial magistrate. Factory Area police station, two motorcycle-riding accused Imtiaz Ahmad and his accomplice Umar Islam were accused of robbing Muhammad Rafiq, a resident of Al-Madina Commercial Market area, of Rs18,000 and a cell phone on September 13. The suspects had been caught and handed over to the police some hours after the robbery on the same day as they were refilling their motorcycle’s petrol tank. Rafiq had spotted them and raised alarm.
