Member of National Assembly Malik Nawab Sheer Waseer will inaugurate an electricity feeder for industries in his constituency on Tuesday (today).
The feeder will be inaugurated at a ceremony at the Jaranwala grid station.
The feeder has been installed on public-private partnership with 50 per cent of the more than Rs9 billion spent of the facility provided by the prime minister in the form of a special grant.
Waseer, who holds the office of the chairman of the Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission, said that the installation of the feeder had been a long-standing demand of industries on Lahore Road.
He said poultry, mechanical and automobile spare industries will benefit from the installation of the new feeder.
The MNA said another feeder installed in Awagat area on Faisalabad Road would benefit textiles industry.
He said he would work on identifying other areas in his constituency for installation of more feeders.
