Directing the officers of the departments concerned to ensure effective coordination in this regard, Rafique said instead of sitting in their offices, the officers should personally monitor the anti-dengue arrangements.
He was presiding over an anti-dengue review meeting at the Cantonment Board office. MPA Ramazan Siddique Bhatti, Arifa Khalid, District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal, the Aziz Bhatti Town administrator and the town municipal officer, Chief Entomologist Dr Waseem Akram and representatives of the Health Department, the Punjab Horticulture Authority, the Lahore Waste Management Company and the Emergency Response Committee were also present.
