A notification by the government was issued in this regard, along with new prices for other fuel products.
The price of high speed diesel has been reduced by 1.75 paisas, taking the new price to Rs113.77 per litre, while the price of light diesel was reduced to 14 paisas taking the new price to Rs99.27.
The price of kerosene oil has been raised by 62 paisas; the new price is Rs104.68.
According to reports, the price of CNG may rise by Rs6.20 per kilogram, according to the formula, due to its link with 60% parity of petrol price.
According to sources, the new prices will go in effect from September 17.
Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly mentioned litre, as a unit for CNG, instead of kilogram. The error has been rectified.

Petrol has become expensive even for suicide...God what plague has you set upon us in the shape of PPP
Prices of all commodities fluctuate every day, in fact every moment. It is a global issue not just Pakistan. The more uncertainty in the Middle East and attacks is causing the prices of commodities to rise. In fact the price of food is going to go up soon. Unless there is peace and quiet prices would not come down.
