Naval chief’s faith: ‘Pakistan Navy prepared for challenges’

While taking stock of development projects, chief reiterated need to enhance combat efficiency of navy.

The naval chief has expressed satisfaction over the preparedness of the Pakistan Navy in the wake of prevalent maritime challenges at the regional and international arena at the Command and Staff conference of the Pakistan Navy held on Friday.

According to a press release issued on Friday, while taking stock of the development projects, the chief reiterated the need to enhance the combat efficiency of the navy.

He also stressed on the Makran Coast project to ensure the welfare of Baloch people. The participants expressed satisfaction over the operational preparedness and nation building projects in Coastal Areas.  Issues pertaining to security situation, significant ongoing projects, future plans of Pakistan Navy and rendering of relief support by the navy to meet any contingency owing to recent rains were also discussed at the conference.
