LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has adjourned the hearing of a petition challenging the appointment of Dr Faiza Malik as medical superintended (MS) of Data Darbar Hospital. The petitioner, Dr Mohammad Fayyaz, has alleged that Dr Malik was appointed for political reasons rather than merit. He said he was the most senior doctor and should have been appointed to the post instead. He asked the court to declare Dr Malik’s appointment illegal and to make him medical superintendent.
