BC officer among four dead bodies recovered in Balochistan

QUETTA: At least four bullet riddled bodies were discovered in Mohammad Toway area of Kalat District, some 160 kilometres away from the provincial capital of Balochistan on Monday.

According to the Balochistan Levies officials, few passersby spotted the bodies and informed them about it.

The security personnel rushed to the spot and found the bodies, which were later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy.

Balochistan Levies head constable Sher Ali Sasoli told The Express Tribune that the bodies were blind folded and their hands and legs had been tied with rope.

He also added that the victims were brutally tortured before being murdered.

“One of the bodies was of a Balochistan Constabulary officer, which had a hole drilled into his head,” he said.

A hospital source added that the bodies had many bullet wounds.

Sasoli also said that victims, who were the residents of Kalat Dirstrict, went missing on September 10.

The motive behind the kidnappings and killings could not be known, however a case has been registered against the unknown persons and investigation is underway.
