The Local Bodies system is one of the few good things Musharraf did and the MQM have done a damn good job. Another four years and the face of Karachi would change to match any other global megacity. Every Tim, Tom, Dick, Harry, and Mary wants to come to Karachi. Welcome. Nevertheless, please respect and show love for the city that employs and feeds you. At least pay an iota of taxes, at least pay for the utilities, at least give tickets to the commuters, at least do not defecate on the streets or under trees (Sahih Muslim), at least do not throw waste paper on the roads or fire paan peek or naswar, at least do not rob banks under the guise of security guards, at least do not resort to drugs, guns and land grabbing. As it is, many katchi abadis exist. Salams
