LAHORE:

The Lahore High Court on Tuesday directed a committee set up to resolve a dispute between the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Gulberg TMA to submit its recommendations by September 17.

The court expressed displeasure that the Gulberg town municipal officer, who was supposed to attend proceedings on Tuesday, did not turn up. Justice Mazhar Iqbal Sidhu  directed him to attend the next hearing.

The dispute revolves around a boundary wall at the PCB office at Gaddafi Stadium that was torn down by the Gulberg TMA as it was built without planning permission. The PCB said the wall was necessary for security reasons.
