Under water: Standing rice crop inundated

More than 250 acres of standing rice crop was inundated after a 30-foot breach occurred at RD10.

SUKKUR: More than 250 acres of standing rice crop was inundated after a 30-foot breach occurred at RD10 near Well No. 8 of the Marri gasfield near Daharki. It started on Sunday with a 10-foot breach at the Shah minor watercourse. Eyewitnesses claimed that the strong current of water the breach widened to 30-foot and within a couple of minutes, the rice crop came under water.
