400gm explosives found outside house in Rawalpindi

Bomb Disposal Squad successfully defuses device, police say it was locally-made.

RAWALPINDI: An explosive device of 400grams was defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) after it was found outside a house in the Hameeda Village of Rawalpindi on Sunday.

The police and the BDS officials reached the site immediately after locals reported of a suspicious explosive device in the area.

According to the police, the explosives device was locally-made, however, the house did not belong to any high-ranking official.
