IBA: Workshop held on crisis management

KARACHI: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi on Thursday hosted a workshop on ‘Financial Crisis Management’, which attracted local and foreign industry experts and IBA faculty, says a press release. Following the welcome note by IBA Dean and Director Dr Ishrat Husain, lead trainer and Metage Investments CEO Sadeq Sayeed gave suggestions on financial crisis management, state regulators and corporate governance issues. Later, former State Bank governor Syed Salim Raza commented on the role of financial intermediation in economic crisis. He spoke about crisis transmission, fiscal and monetary influences and regulatory responses.
