FAISALABAD:

The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) Employees Pegham Union (PWEMU) has demanded time-scale promotions for all employees of the authority.

PWEMU chairman Mian Iftikhar Ahmed made the demand at a meeting of FESCO workers on Thursday. He welcomed the FESCO’s decision to reduce the number of years of service required for eligibility for promotion from 10 years to five years. He said the same policy should be adopted by other power supply companies.
